"The story of the Adventist Youth Society, now titled Young Adults (YA), began over 125 years ago along a dusty country lane in Michigan with two young boys kneeling in prayer. Today that dusty lane has become a world-wide web of highways that links over 10 million Seventh-day Adventist young people in nearly every political entity on every continent of the globe. This story comes in every hue of the rainbow; it is filled with extremes of exhilaration and mountaintop experiences, as well as deep sadness and unfulfilled dreams. This is the story of Godís leading a fascinating army down through the battles of the great over arching conflict that is life as we know it now."

Upcoming Events:

Global Youth Day

Global Youth Day is the pursuit of a vision to recapture the reality of Seventh-day youth as a global movement, mobilized for service to contribute in the proclamation of the everlasting gospel and usher in the second coming of Jesus Christ. Grounded in the concluding words of Jesus in the parable of the Good Samaritan, "Go and do likewise" (Luke 10:25-37), the theme of the Global Youth Day is: "BE THE SERMON"

Global Youth Day is a Sabbath when Seventh-day Adventist Youth around the world are challenged to "Be the Sermon" instead of simply listening to one more sermon. Eight million Adventist youth are mobilized on the streets of our villages, towns, and cities around the world to be the hands and feet of Jesus through acts of kindness. Global Youth Day is scheduled on the first Sabbath of the youth week of prayer for most parts of the world.

Today, the Centreville Youth will be giving out Soup to our neighbors in the Plantol Street and surrounding areas. We ask your prayers as we seek to ĎBe the Sermoní. This afternoon, there will be a joint AY in Rawson Square beginning at 3:30 pm. Immediately following AY, there will be a Grand Social on Fort Charlotte. We hope to see you all this

Praise on the Steps.  There will be gospel singing, prayer and preaching. February 28th, 2015. 4 - 7pm. Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church. Tonique Williams-Darling Highway.
