Scavella Dies. Funeral service will be on Sunday, July
7, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Centreville Seventh-day
Adventist Church, Collins Ave, Nassau, The Bahamas.

On Thursday, June 27, 2013,
Florence E. Scavella, age 79, died at the home of her
daughter inTreasure Cove, The Bahamas. Florence was a
long-time member of the Centreville Seventh-day Adventist
Church. For many years she was known for her wonderful
baking of coconut tarts and other delicious pastries.
She is survived by her four children, sons and daughter in laws,
and grand children.
Her husband (deceased), Hugh Scavella, the brother of Pastor
Neville Scavella, passed away many years go.

Yvan Neil Cherenfant Dies

Seventh-day Adventist Church, Nassau
There will be a reception after the burial at the
Centreville Church House
of Yvon and Alice Cherenfant Dies Suddenly. On
Sunday, June 23, 2013, shorly after midday, Yvan Neil
Cherenfant, the 32-year-old son of Alice and Yvon
Cherenfant died suddenly after collapsing during a fun
basket ball game, at the Adventist Gym, Wulff Road.
His dear wife Estelle, deeply mourns the lost of her
dear husband (Married August 12, 2012. Yvon
Cherenfant, his father, is a local elder at the Centreville
Church and the personal ministries leader. Alice,
Yvan's mother, is also a leader in the church. Their
son, Yvan, was a wonderful first-class Christian young man.
He was quiet, unassuming, gentle, kind, and loving.
The pastor, officers, and members of the Centreville Church
extend our deepest sympathy to his wife, Estelle and her
family; Yvan's parents, and
the entire Cherenfant family. Mortician is

Sharing With the Community
June 20, 2013
On Tuesday, June 18, 2013, the
Community Services Department led by Harrison Moxey
(leader), conducted a clothing give-away to the residents in
the nearby community. It took place in the church's parking
lot. Scores of individuals came to get free shoes,
dresses, shirts, blouses, etc. Click on photos below.
