We’ve a Story to Tell the Nations
H. Ernest Nichol 1862 to 1928

Worship Hour Closing Hymn for Sabbath, March 1, 2014

We’ve a story to tell to the nations,
That shall turn their hearts to the right,
A story of truth and mercy,
A story of peace and light,
A story of peace and light.

For the darkness shall turn to dawning,
And the dawning to noonday bright;
And Christ’s great kingdom shall come on earth,
The kingdom of love and light.

Stanza by Barrington Brennen
We’re to make the gospel attractive
By our lives and attitude sweet
With hearts and hands spreading love
So others will know God’s peace
So others will know God’s peace

Refrain by Barrington Brennen
For the gospel of Jesus is beautiful
And our lives will reflect his love
So soon we will see our Savior come
When we would have shared his love.
