It was truly a fun day.  Although it rained two times it did not dampen the spirit of the day. The videos and photos below will tell the story.

50 Students and Teachers are Dedicated

On Sabbath, August 17, 2013, about fifty students and five teachers at Centreville Church came forward to the altar during the Divine Worshhip for a special prayer of dedication by Pastor Barrington Brennen to encourage them as they begin the new school year.   The sermon title was "The three most important goals in educating our children." ADVENTIST YOUTH MEETING TODAY AT 6:30 P.M.  Donít miss the exciting meeting plan for everyone.


THE PASTORíS FORUM AND THE LIVING WORD GOSPEL CAMPAIGN PLANNING MEETING TODAY:  Sunday, September 29, 2013, will be the opening night for The Living Word Gospel Campaign when four of our elders will be speaking.  Persons who are volunteering to be ushers, visitation team members, etc, and all others, are encouraged to attend the preparation meeting at 5:30 today during the Pastorís Bible Forum time.


TWINS ARE BORN: Congratulations to Pastor Richard and Mrs. Renee Henderson on the birth of their twins (boy and girl) born Tuesday, August 13, 2013, in Atlanta. 


BACK-TO-SCHOOL GIVE AWAY: Centreville Church Community Services Department will be hosting a Back-to-School give away to the community on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.  Kindly give your donations of school supplies to the department as soon as possible.


ELDERS ON FIRES PART 2 COMING SOON:  Beginning Sabbath, September 1, 2013, the second part to Elders on Fire will begin.  This is a part of Centrevilleís participation during the Inter-American Divisionís Year of the Laity.  The speakers are Solomon Gibson, Oral Gibson, Michael Duvalier, Charles Zonicle, and Clayton Forbes.


PASTORíS OFFICE HOURS THIS WEEK:  Tuesday & Thursday August 20 and 22 at 9 a.m. to 12 noon. 


CARE CIRLCE GRIEF & LOSS RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUP CONTINUES AUGUST 25:  The invitation of new participants to Care Circle Grief Support and Recovery  Group One has been extended to the next Care Circle regular meeting on Sunday August 25.   Persons who have experienced loss cans still join the group on August 25, at 6 p.m.      Anyone who experienced any kind of loss (death, loss of a limb, job, etc) is encouraged to attend.



HELP NEEDED: Two members of urgently in need of a place to stay and a job.  If you are able to accommodate kindly speak to the Community Services leader, the first elder or the pastor.



Festival of the Laity Conference-wide Festival of the Laity will be September 27-28, 2013


Elders Baptism Sabbath  The local elders will be baptizing persons they have won to Christ on Sabbath, September 28, 2013


Evangelist Series  The Living Word Gospel Campaign will be September 29 to Oct 12, 2013


Picnic The Family Ministries Department would like to have a Summer Church Family Picnic on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Jaws Beach.  Plan you day to be there.


Prayer 40 Conference-Wide 40 Days of Prayer will begin on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church, Tonique Williams-Darling Highway.


Family Summit  November 10 to 17 there will be a Singles/Parenting/Marriage Summit.  This week will include a Singles Retreat and a Marriage Retreat
